MC Computational Fluid Dynamics

Welcome to MMKC3001 Computational Fluid Dynamics!

A very warm welcome to each of you as we embark on this exciting journey into the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). My name is Dr. Khor Chu Yee, and I will be your instructor for this course, and I am excited to guide you through this fascinating course. 

This course is designed to be your guide into the powerful and visually stunning world of fluid flow and heat transfer simulation. We will explore how complex thermo-fluid problems, which can be challenging to solve analytically, can be tackled effectively using modern computational methods and commercial software.

Throughout three modules, we will build a strong foundation, starting from the history of CFD and the fundamental governing equations and progressing to hands-on application where you'll learn to solve, analyze, and evaluate two- and three-dimensional flow and heat transfer problems.  The skills you develop here are highly sought after in many engineering and scientific fields.
