MC Computer Aided Design (CAD) (CATIA V5 - Hybrid)
Welcome to Computer Aided Design (CAD). In this micro-credential course, you will gain practical, industry-relevant skills that form the foundation of modern engineering and product development.
This course is delivered in hybrid mode, combining both online and face-to-face learning to provide flexibility and hands-on engagement. We will be working with CATIA V5, a leading industry-standard CAD software widely used in mechanical design, product development, and manufacturing.
Throughout the course, we will work hands-on with CATIA V5, starting from basic 2D sketching and progressing into advanced 3D part modelling, assemblies, and kinematic motion. You will also learn how to create exploded views and generate precise technical drawings that meet industrial standards. These experiences are designed not only to enhance your technical skills but also to prepare you for the realities of design workflows used in today’s engineering and manufacturing environments.
By the end of our sessions, you will be able to confidently produce engineering documentation and digital prototypes, bridging the gap between design concepts and manufacturable products. These skills are highly sought after across industries and will provide you with a strong advantage in fields such as mechanical design, product innovation, and digital manufacturing.
I look forward to guiding you step by step through this exciting journey. Let’s begin transforming your design ideas into professional, industry-ready CAD models with CATIA V5.
